Partnerships of any size—including those with more than 160 partners—can now lodge statements of distribution (SODs) digitally. Lodgment can be done via standard business reporting (SBR) enabled software or the practitioner lodgment service (PLS) for registered agents.

Digital SOD lodgment ensures data is retained for future years and helps the ATO verify that partners are accurately reporting income in their returns. To avoid common errors that may result in penalties or additional costs, ensure all required information is correctly completed for each partner in the SOD labels.
